ANTOINE
After 15 years of incarceration, Antoine is not ashamed of his background or incarceration, but views it more of an asset to bolster his desire and aspiration to succeed. A high school grad, captain of both high school football and wrestling teams, member of JROTC and on his way to the military, Antoine was no delinquent. However, an irresponsible 2 seconds changed his life. With much of his life spent behind bars, Antoine believes a job is the most important thing an ex-offender can receive upon release. Antoine believes ex-offenders are full of untapped potential and that employers must tap into those skills to find great treasures. After taking vocational skill classes during his last couple of months of incarceration, which taught him printing and graphic skills, Antoine is now a sales representative with Uptown Press and is truly grateful.
