Errol Taylor, owner of Charm City Catering, a full service, off-premise catering company which services the Baltimore/Metropolitan region, believes offering employment to ex-offenders not only provides them with monetary benefits, but is empowering and gives them a second sense of family. Errol has hired people from all walks of life, but has found that hiring an ex-offender with no experience but a willingness to work and learn is more powerful and can be much more beneficial to the company. Believing ex-offenders have the same values and wants as everybody else – to provide better lives for themselves and their family – Errol knows it is impossible for ex-offenders to accomplish this without someone providing them with a second chance in the form of a job.
