“We as employers need to be willing to take chances. There's a great pool of workers out there who want jobs and if you're just willing to take a chance, the results can be phenomenal.”
 MATTHEW HITT
As the owner of the east coast's largest heavy vehicle wash facility, Matthew Hitt leads a workforce consisting of over 92% ex-offenders. His biggest criterion for potential employees is to have a willingness to work, to show up on time, and to remain drug-free. Matthew strives to provide an environment that promotes a drug-free lifestyle, and give counsel to his employees about staying drug-free. He accepts that it's not enough to just talk about the issue and throw a lot of money at it; employers need to actually do something about it.
