As vice president of human resources for the Johns Hopkins Health System, Pamela Paulk has had the opportunity to work with and hire hundreds of people with criminal backgrounds. In addition to being excellent employees, the people Pamela hires that have criminal backgrounds have a positive impact on the community. Recently, the hospital conducted a study to compare job retention rates between ex-offenders and more traditional hires.
